THE ART BUS, A TRAVELLING EXHIBITION IN THE VOSGES TERRITORY

From Friday 9 July to Sunday 29 August 2021

A tool for highlighting the region’s dynamics in the area of contemporary art, the showcase at the Gue(ho)st House regularly welcomes projects from partner organisations (La Conserverie et Modulab à Metz, Le Vent des Forêts à Fresnes-au-Mont, le CIAV de Meisenthal, La Factorine à Nancy, le Musée de l’Image-Epinal etc).

On the occasion of the realization of the new exterior cladding of the ART BUS imagined by the artist RERO in February 2021, the CAC - the synagogue of Delme invited La Lune en Parachute d'Épinal to present this unique project in France, in the showcase of the Gue(ho)st House in Delme from July 9 to August 29, 2021.

The ART BUS is an educational project making it possible to bring Art to young audiences through a traveling exhibition moving from college to college in the Vosges for fourteen years. Each year, an artist takes over the bus space and offers students and teachers the opportunity to discuss different plastic themes. The objective is to reach an audience often absent from exhibition spaces: adolescents.

For the 2020 - 2021 school year, it is the artist Emmanuel Pierrot, who is deploying his exhibition Le monde de pierrot inside the bus, one of whose works, La Luna, will end its journey in the window of la Gue (ho) st House.

The exhibition can be seen in the showcase of the Gue(ho)st House from July 9th to August 29th 2021.
