The CAC - la synagogue de Delme invites you to discover the exhibition Des nuées by Marianne Villière from April 16th to April 30th 2022 in the showcase of the Gue(ho)st House.
Des nuées, an ephemeral fresco made with stencil and Meudon white is a participatory and multi-site work.
A rain of birds flies over various glass surfaces, diverting the usual anti-collision silhouettes. These are flocks of endangered bird species from mainland France. The accumulation of these discreet silhouettes on the windows as well as their shadows, testifies to a massive absence.
Marianne Villière lives and works in a small village in Lorraine. Her artistic practice invites us, collectively, to take care of shared spaces and other forms of life that surround us. Particularly fond of the margins, she strives to make them heard! His approach often offers reversals of situations...
